 The Patients for Alternative Medicine® (PfAM) is a strong grass roots organization dedicated to informing patients and concerned individuals about issues which impact access to alternative health care providers,availability of foods supplements, the safety and nutritional value of foods and legislative issues that could adversely impact our access.
To clarify what PfAM means by grassroots efforts, the doctors of natural medicine are like the stems and blades of grass in a wheat field. The grain produced in the field corresponds to the restored health of their patients. But the roots correspond to the patients themselves.
